I am having the same problem, again only at slow speeds. I went to renault yesterday and my car is booked in for may 3rd. they didnt seem too sure what the issue is though.
ive got a thought that the bloke is on a corsa website now sayin i took a bloke in a clio with 2 exhausts and he only just took me back because he had the inside line on a corner! plus his exhausts werent as big as mine. haha
i dont mind modifications, and individuality is a great thing but jus...
Plus the weight loss of it being stripped. in their favour they hold their value like no clio would do. a 6 year old mini one with 70,000 is still going for 5,500, an thats the cheapest i could find
It was more fun seeing him really try to push his car, could only have been a 1.4 max of 1.6.
if it was a clio i would of let him drive on without a challenge
I like minis but the power v cash always put me off.
if they all came like that it would be worth the pennies. like to see what else has been done to it
Driving home from work today an after giving it some as usual round the industrial estate near work, I hit the motorway, stuck cruise control and trundle home at the usual 75-80. the junction before mine, i get to the junction just as i hear the oh too usual chav rumble. looking back in my side...
jjoe90; i had heard it on my car an guessed it was cooling but i seriously didnt think of that in my house. ive been struggling to get to sleep for the last 23 years thinkin it was the monsters in the wardrobe!
Me tonight!!:sleepy:
ive gone for 5 but only because im in a share scheme so i pay lower for 2 1/2 years then get the share money and will pay the rest in full. if its a private sale unless you got a mum or dad that will give you the money only a loan is the way to go. or a second job if your willing to work for it
It is with an Arnold Clarke Garage however, as it is only a 54 plate, it is still under renault warranty.
Do you have any idea what the minimum charge is? do you get this refunded if something needs changing?
I have some strange creaking noises coming from my steering column and I am going to take it into renault to have them look at it. It is under warranty until 2009 (extended dealer). this was sold as parts and labour but does this include the inital looking over?
Alex,
Mine is doing exactly the, only when moving the wheel at slow speeds and normally only when wheel is being turned 1/2 or max of one full turn. Did you or anyone find out what this is?
you wont have seen it on the road yet, no-one has bought it. its been there for months. I could imagine it selling with a small engine. some chav would snap it up but with grp 16 insurance, people older enough or with enough no claims surely must have more sense.
