True im presuming there was very little on it but could be wrong, plus tar show's up so much on red paint.

Did you wax it? Pointless doing what you did without waxing it. As for de-tarring it the clay bar should of made short work of tar spots.

I have replaced pretty much everything for new, ktec coilovers, bushings, ball joints. But when i go over loose uneven surfaces im getting a weird vibration, feels like there is a bit of play in something like the wheel moves a bit before the suspension compress's. Its only on loose un even...

On my ph1 172, the pwer steering is acting up. The first time i start it up in the day, the steering has a nice weighted feel, but if i park it up for an hour or so and start again the steering is very light and vague. I have bled the system with new fluid but the issue is still there. Pump on...

Thats exactly it benn, was looking and thinking there is no way they will fit.lol got them on anyway after loosing a nail but sorted. Also glad I changed them because tye standard items are fubar.

Just fitting the fronts, may be stupid but I have to use the standard topmount but does the rubber bush from the standard item go on aswell?

Yea was thinking that about the left ones, the others look like spacers there are 4 of the ones on the right. Dont see where they go on the coilover so im thinking there not part of the kit.

Picked up some ktec coilovers and these were in the box are they part of the kit, cant see where they go. The guy i bought them off had packed in a bc coilover box so thinking its part of that kit.

Cheers dont know what to do with the f1's keep or sell, not much of a market for them over here.

On my 172 at the mo are standard shocks and apex springs, a set of cup suspension has come for sale,. Would there be any benefit in swopping to the cup suspension? Is there much of a difference between the 2, non cup and cup. Cheers.

Cheers was thinking about a cup spoiler not much else available., do these cars have a lsd as standard? Done a quick search there and couldnt find much. Remember hearing something that they don't.

Its lowered on apex springs, has adjustable camber arms fitted as well from the looks of things.

Im not proud that its a clio, ive done this with every car ive owned. I like to have a clean car thats it really. Used as a daily because cars are meant to be driven not parked on the drive 5 days a week. I know its a clio once again ive done it with every car ive owned, its raining here today...

Ha nothing wrong in taking a bit of pride in a clean car, actually done all the arches etc the other day.

If its washed correctly every time, i dont understand how it would suffer with swirls? Mine has little or no swirls paint is in the same condition since i bought the car and thats washing it everyday for the last couple of months.
