Yep, that was me getting lost on the way to finding Gladwin's body/panel repair shop after a recent rear-end shunt on the A11 :(
Which company were you working for there?
I just did this last week, i changed the motor for a generic 2005 clio one from eurocar parts and it works great - at least you don't have xenons and the second headlight washer pump to deal with! Also well worth cleaning out the washer fluid reservoir while you've got all the wiper mechanism out...

My steering feels a bit floaty all the time and has a bit of a dead-zone a few degrees either side of centre. Is there anything that can improve this or is it just inherent?
I used to have a knocking noise lifting off the throttle in low gears, it turned out to be a knackered dogbone mount - it's quite popular to fit poly bushes to the mount, this fixed the knocking for me.
I have AS2's all round and really like them. I can't compare to other performance tyres as the ones on before were cheap and nasty. One thing I noticed is how much better the car rides with these, they deal with poor road surfaces really well.
Yeah, I definitely didn't clear the fine dust created well enough - lesson learned for next time. I got a load of static buildup which stick the dust onto the headlight, bit of a pain.
Now i've got a kit with only 1 p500 disc... - fancy selling me 2 of yours lol?
I have the same brake setup as yours, probably from the same guy... Did a 100-200 miles normal driving and noticed the same contact area as shown in your pics. After a trackday though the contact was perfect.
Also yeah the squealing doesn't go away :D (at least not in the ~1000 miles i've had...
Looks good, massive improvement. I'm halfway through doing mine (1 headlight done, other pending), I'm finding I need more of the p500 discs, did you manage to do all that with the 6 supplied? Mine got really clogged after just a few passes...
Also I had that exact issue with a Dewalt drill!
Yeah it was the drainage area behind the scuttle panel in the end - it's a right pain to get to, I got it cleared at a garage in the end along with a minor service :(
Hi guys,
I've been driving like a bit of an idiot recently and have put a couple of scratches and dents on various parts of my 182, can anyone recommend a bodyshop/wheel refurb place in the cambridgeshire area?
Cheers.
Thanks for the reply, nice to know the engine start thing is normal.
I might be able to get the wipers/scuttle panel off this weekend so i'll post the fix if i'm lucky enough to find it...
OK, so I noticed a seriously wet drivers foot-well after the heavy rain a few weeks back. After drying it out and having more rain, I'm getting a pool in the recess under the seat. I notice there's some air/aircon vent pointing right in that area too...
Other issue i wonder if anyone else gets...
