Yeah, this is what mine does.... :( Then when cruising throughout 70-80mph etc but goes at 90. Stops quite abruptly infact. Although like steve740, my heating is fine.

17's really do not ride well. I had them on my valver and they make the car feel so slow. 15's awesome for handling.

I've a ecotec on my valver and wasn't expecting miracles, but it drives better than before. Throttle response is much better... Haven't noticed much on petrol savings though to be honest. Worthwhile mod for Valver but not so much on 172 imo.

I had a custom (quiet) full system on my valver when I bought it but the tailpipe stuck out quite far. I've recently replaced the backbox with a Powerflow custom and its awesome. I know Powerflow seems to get mixed reviews on here but mine sounds so gd imo. It sounds nice from 3k then by 5k...

ah ok. So when cams are fitted does the power come in at different points. I.e higher or lower in the band. I know it sounds stupid, was just under the impression that cams gave more top end, and that rev range increases as result.

right. so when ya get cams etc and cars are remapped what is highest they generally raise it too?

Curious. My valver revs to just over 7000rpm and as far as I know its had nothin done to ecu etc. Do most rev this high? May be a silly one, so early apologies.
