Thanks Jon,hope it is just the sensor,it is playing up quite a lot now,it used to drop down to 0 mph on the motorway but now it is starting to do it around 30/40 mph. Ian

I just had my cambelt done on my 5 year old 172,also got the alternator belt changed and front discs and pads for £420,from my not so local garage,who used to work for Renault,now that is a bargin,compared to what Renault wanted £740 ,exc VAT. ian
