I would also only buy new cables from Renault! Some cables appear to be the correct length until you get them under the car and realise they won't reach on the front end! Also you may have to adjust the cable from underneath the car. There is a heat shield (at least there is on the 172s) that...

I had a similar problem with my aerial! If it won't come out, you need to remove the base and put in another. I got my base from Silverlake scrap yard. Just remove interior light (should just pop out) and undo the small nut on the underside of the base. :)

Get some long dark zip ties and tighten them around both legs of each headrest to create some pressure, should stop all of the rattling! Place them as close as they will fit under the head rest so they cannot be seen as easily. :)
