These are cracking tyres, in the wet and the dry, quite a good price too. A mate of mine had a set of these on his old rs escort, said they were the best tyres he'd had.

yea the screws were to hold the actual filter in place, turns out i just needed to pull it!! o well, done now :)
found one that k-tec do one thats made especially for this engine too.
Anyone know how to remove it, and whats a reccomendable upgrade? i know theres not much performance gain, but i want it mainly for the noise :cool: Any help much appreciated. i can take a pic of the engine if its needed.
