any-one know how to code new keys on the 172 ECU? cars been at reno for 3 weeks and they cant code it.... would I not b able to get the software from reno HO or something ???

Ok, my car, she doesnt want to start, even jusmp start. Checked the battery, no problem. Checked the started, all fine When I turn the key all lights come on and the radio, jsut no action from the engine, and a whinny noise, even after I turn the key off. Could it be an immobilisor problem...

nope, if you stand in front of the car, its the clippy thing attaching the feed line(i think) to the injector rail.

this just poped off yesterday, while at full throttle. Seems like the clip broke off...is it an easy diy fix? or should I take her to my local stealer? ( cant post pic, please help)

So will still be safe to remove the valve?those inlet pipes on the airbox that run to the headlights, i doubt it gets much intake, I was thinking that mabe I need get a better systym in place.

Hey, I have a Mk1 2.0, with a cone air filter.On the throttle, where the intake pipe attaches is a butterfly valve sorta thing. I am in the process of fitting a proper cold air induction system direct to the intake, should I remove this valve?Also, I have read here that the best is not to...
