Just done a 200 mile round trip today to view matts r27 today. Decided to buy it Sony gotta do another 200 mile round trip again next week. But if it's worth it then I'm prepared to travel.

If you open up the fuel pump under the rear seat in a 172 there is a little non return valve. It's like a rubber cap thing.
I am missing mine. And it's causing me problems on low fuel when I go round a roundabout.
Has anyone got a broken pump they could fish...

Mine is lowerd and has tsw wheels and a decat so it would be obvious.
Yeah seems to disappear as I rev. I know they sound a little sewing machine like anyway.
I also thought dephaser.

Sounds really tappetey on idle it performs fine or seems to as its always sounded like this.
But not ever hearing another ph2 172 I can't tell.
It did spend a week in Renault last year and they didn't say anything ?
just spent 2 hours last night replacing my bulb, water had got up into the ignighter and caused it to fail, once it dried out it was ok, but as with the joys of owning a renault, the headlight adjuster managed to snap while i was replacing the bulb..
Ok this is an odd problem, i had a map sensor fail on me and this similar symptoms, but its not the map sensor.
When i go full lock right round a roundabout the car can only be described to as suffereing from fuel starvation, as its starts to judder and jolt, similar to when my map sensor was...
Is there any where other than the main dealer i can get genuine parts?
My main dealer seems to be pricer than others.
Where does everyone get service parts and shocks etc from ?

right just called them and siad about the ecu, he read me off the report.
The injection comp (ECU) is not talking to the UCH, and the comp is storing no faults.
There was a coroded wire that goes from the ecu to the uch which we repaired but renault have bypassed it and the fault still remains.

Is it worth getting my ecu tested as to rule it out?
I've changed so much their using much left.
Or is it just not possible what their saying exists?
mate I'm honestly this close to selling it for spares or repair.
Its a shame as I really love it and its in not bad nick.
But I dunno if I can handle the stress of owning another Renault.
after changing everything the problem was still there, thats why i had to resort to going to renault.
They have had it on their CLIP machine and said the ecu isint talking to the injection computer, they have tested the wireing and its ok, so they believe it is an ecu fault.
