Spoke to dvla today they saod aslong as the car hasnt been sorned for longer than 12 months then it can be done with no mot, anything over 12 months they wont do they said
Yeah this is what i dont want them to ask me, hassle but i dont want to loose my plate, what did you put in your letter just that theres no mot as its a bare shell as it was broken for parts?
Anyone ever had to remove a private plate from a bare shell thats got no mot? I have a plate stuck on my car thats just a bare shell with no mot and was wondering if theres anyway round this???
Nothing was wrong with it, pulled really good before i removed, didnt use any water or oil, and didnt over heat, havent got any receipts to cambelt being done so that would need doing, but while the engines out its best to change anyway?
Thanks for the quick replies, front ends removed and loom and other bits out the way, another problem im having is removing the driveshafts, is there a split pin anywhere ?
As i was selling it anyway i didnt really want to throw money at it trying to find out problems as ive seen a few on here with problems like mine and theyve been a ballache to sort..
Yeh that was another thing i needed to get round to was to quieten it down, where you moved to now mate?
im...
Would it be better to sell or break as im not sure if get that much back if i sold as whole? Its a 52 plate 172 cup, taxd until end of december and motd until next june?
