Another year is rapidly drawing to a close, and it's that time again. We are looking for you to submit your best Clio related pictures for us to use in next years calendar.
Pics of single cars, groups of cars, cars on track, modded, standard, 1.2's, 200's, V6's all types of Clio are required...
For anyone who "doesn't do camping", there is a new Travelodge now open 10 minutes away from Blyton in Gainsborough. This will be close enough to come and go from on the Friday and/or Saturday nights. You could even get a taxi late on if you want to stay and have some drinks.
(You will...
It's time to announce details of our annual national event ClioSport Festival for 2019!
The show is moving to an earlier date this year, so tickets are going on sale earlier than usual.
CSF19 will be held between Friday 5th July - Sunday 7th July, with the main show day and track day on...
Sadly there was very little interest in TRAX this year. The biggest issue is bizzarely they always stop selling club tickets a month before the show and a lot of people decide to go to a show like this more last minute.
It's not just us though, if you look at the club attendances all round...
Seriously, just buy a MacBook. I've never looked back, worth every penny simply for the build quality and OS. One you've got over the initial transition which will take a couple of days your productivity will be so much better away from Windows.
Unfortunately TRAX have closed club ticket sales now. For some reason even though they do e-ticketing, they close the sales a month before the event.
We have a small number of people going this year.
Hi Alex,
Looks very tidy for your first car and even better that it was a Christmas present!
Some on here will be cynical and say don't 'waste' money you won't get back by modifying it, and save the money for a few years until you can sensibly insure an RS (172/182 etc).
But there's been some...
Hi Stuart, great to see you on the forum and that you enjoyed the show last weekend! Your a braver man that I am to go out on track with some of the people on here! ??
Javelin told us that the photographer would be doing cash sales on the day but this didn't seem to materialise. I've asked for clarification and if the photos will be available to purchase / download online. I will update when we get a response.
If we can add £1 to every ticket to rent an admin team motor home, and a Segway for the constant walks to the gate and back I'll be there every weekend. ?
If you are not going out on track as either a driver or passenger and you stay in the camping area then it’s not a problem guys, they just don’t want people walking around near the track with alcohol or going on the track having consumed any.
Just please use common sense really.
A couple of last minute bonuses for the show to announce!
Photographer
I'm pleased to be able to confirm that we will have a professional photographer attending who will be selling images from the day for you to purchase in cash.
Instructor
We will also have an instructor available at an...
Another Clio-less here :(. Trophy didn't get sorted for this year, even though we need to come in the Kadjar anyway with all the crap we have to bring. Maybe next year I'll get on track!
Cant wait to get going now! ?
The noise meter is on 'Twickers' bend where the start finish line is near the pit exit. Avoid giving it full beans there if you think you're at risk of tripping it.
I'm sure your friend 'Andy' will remain responsible at all times, so no need to worry. ?
I'd like to say all CSF management remain responsible but that tends to deteriorate as the Saturday night goes on and year on year!
On the gate prices
Weekend Ticket: £35 Adult, £15 Child.
(There will be a limited number of these available on the gate as catering numbers & camping pitches have been set, so I'd highly recommend buying in advance!)
Saturday Daytime Only (8am-6pm): £15 Adult, £7 Child
The 'CSF Taxi' stickers and signage will be neon green the same as last year. We would probably have changed it to this years show colour which is orange but as some people still have the stickers on their car from last year, it seems stupid to change them.
What James says ^. The weekend ticket is mainly factoring in the additional food and entertainment. We have a few people that go off to hotels etc, but they still buy a weekend ticket.
