Used them on a lupo gti, Megane r26 and the clio and have always been happy with performance and how long they last. Only pads I've had trouble with deposits on discs are ds2500s
Luckily ill be using the car as a weekend toy, as I have a van in the week and also me and my mrs share her a1, so its just for pleasure. Wouldnt want it as a daily!
Ordered some cl rc5+ pads for it last night as well as some new brake fluid, Used these in previous cars and loved them
Ye doing pretty well with that much torque, you must be easy on it lol.
I only sold it to put more money into a house. Kinda wish I didn't but needed the money
Was always spot of for me mechanically just a few french electric gremlins!
Have you changed the clutch?
And ill give the swap a miss lol, The megane is epic but the evo is another level!
Ye switchable with the intercooler spray button.
Just been out in it again, Thats every night this week! Loving it, so controllable all the time, Had it a bit sideways off a roundabout but its so easy to control it surprisingly didnt phase me!
It does seem a minefield buying one. Hopefully this turns out to be a good one. Last owner had it 5 years
And got a nicely presented folder of all services and other stuff done and a fully stamped service book
It weighs around 1400kg whereas the new fiesta st weighs 1163. Yet has twice the power so it's hardly an issue!
And also lol at bland looks from someone with a fiesta st!
I did lots of reading up before I bought it! Prepared for some big bills if something goes tits up. Hopefully nothing too major.
It had a new clutch, an evo 9 gt gearbox and big service last year which was reassuring.
Going to keep on top of the servicing with top quality fluids etc, always...
Thats what I'm in the process of doing! Getting it booked in for new pads, braided hoses and some decent fluid. Plus a little service just so it's all nice and fresh.
The brakes are the only disappointment at the mo!
I wasnt a huge fan of the wheels in pictures but imo they look alot better in person!
I had a 280bhp r26 before the clio but sold that to put money into a house deposit and had the clio for 2 1/2 years then decided to treat myself to this as always wanted one.
Drove it back from durham sunday...
Heres a few pics of the clio's replacement which I picked up at the weekend
