So that brings us a bit closer to now, clios been on the back burner most if this year just getting used now and then. Latest purchase for it was some new shoes.
And the valver passed its MOT during the week...better late than never!
And the escos will be tucked up for winter shortly...
So after that I got a chance to buy a car I've always wanted, After a few pm's on another forum I went and picked up this [emoji16] cheers to neilA for coming to look at it and @Fraser.J. For the lift [emoji8]
A little bit fettling later...
So the yellow clio is still on the road but not...
So the plan was to fix the valver for winter and get on with some tinkering with the sunflower! Bought new seats and coilovers for it, aswell as a Pms exhaust and Pms shifter. Fitted new tie rod/track rods/ball joints so the car was feeling great for its first trackday.
Its nearly been a year and a half since i last posted in here! So will chuck some pics up to get you upto date.
First up, last show i was at was CSS 2013, got the car mapped at ra tuning then went the the ring and nackerd the engine. Cracked all the ringlands! What a b*****d.
So that...
Fraz told me about it last night! Properly gutted for you [emoji30]. Has your new aerocatches got the spreader plate for the underside of the bonnet? Might help strengthen it up a bit more, I have them on mine. Hopefully not too hard to put right though.
Gandi69 had been crashed at some point. Timing belt snapped. Rusty rear arches and petrol filler starting to go. More touch up paint on the front than anything else atleast it had been well used anyway!
Ps I aquired it well after dave sold it, and had gotten a fair bit worse in that time!
