I was never intending to create a replica. The only thing I wanted on the car when I bought it was the alloys - I think they suit the M3 perfectly and IMO are the best looking wheels available. The CSL bootlid gives the car an aggressive look from the rear with the integrated tail spoiler so...

They can sell for around £800 unpainted and unfitted. Mine was just over £600 from BMW. Lot of coins but tbh it's something I've wanted since day one and I was just putting off the inevitable. The box is so light.

The French chariot is still going strong as ever. 51k miles now and the missus drives it more than me, but still enjoy taking it out and giving it a good blast. Will have owned it 2.5 years by June. Darth Vader intake at the top :cool: It's a shame Youtube clips offer no real sense...

I posted this comparison a few weeks ago. Can't see the carbon fibre roof in the CSL image though: No headlight washers on the CSL either, and I couldn't do without my interior cup holders! 😌

I sold my GoPro shortly after making that clip. I did one for the Megane, too. I'm may look for a cheaper alternative with good sound quality. The airbox overpowers the exhaust note, especially at higher revs - that's when the airbox comes into it's own. It's mental. But low down the exhaust...

Yeah, the mic was situated next to the airbox. That wasn't even with Sport Mode activated (just in Comfort) and SMG setting 4 (5 is brutal). 😌 They did last week. The caps seem to turn on their own over time. Must make sure to correct them in future, like this:

Few snaps with the CSL diffuser fitted. Still needs adjusted ever so slightly, as I'm very fussy. Then I'll decide whether it stays or not (this is the 3rd one I've bought but this one has stayed on longer than a day!) Silver Grey paintwork. Doesn't really do it...

Mini USB means it should be even easier to access the sound board on the device. I agree not many ask for a feature like that, but for recording exhaust/engine notes etc., it's very handy. Very clever gadget though, and having just sold my GoPro 3+ Black I may well invest in one of these.

Shame there's no external mic support. Thought it would have worked off the micro HDMI input with mic adapter. No doubt that will be in the next one.

I may have to purchase this on PC. My gaming rig should smash this. Finally a reason for building it in the first place :smile: The modding scene for this game should be incredible. Should my PC be able to play this no problems at all on high settings? * Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail...

Any external microphone integration with these? Ideally I want to record sound from engine bay/exhaust. The internal cabin sound is drowned out a lot.
