It's getting there, the new cup owner isn't on here, I did mention the build thread if he was interested, he is on the Facebook forum and taking it on track tomorrow ?
Managed to get a few bit's done this morning before I gave up and sat in the garden ?
Fitted the boot struts that I had bought previously - before and after
Fitted the cup spoiler I have had tucked up since last Autumn - during and after
Fitted the wing mirrors I bought, the old ones had...
Am sure some of you will have already seen my last thread which was mainly for my 172 Cup https://www.cliosport.net/threads/mintno1s-ph1-172-ph2-172-cup-progress-thread.805731/ last weekend I sold the Cup to concentrate on my Ph1. I only have one garage space and as much as I loved the Cup and...
Can't beat a good cup ? you won't go far wrong with the cup shocks and cooksport springs, what I had on mine before I added coilovers. Are you near Cambridge or did you travel to Cambridge to buy?
Haha I can't believe it went so quick :) he said on Saturday shall I take it now and I was like you can but I need to get everything together as I wasn't expecting anyone to buy it, was planning a road trip this week before the insurance ran out. I have a plan for the Ph1 so should all be good...
This is the plan all being well, although would like to keep it standard looking but drop it and space wheels out plus cup spoiler (already have that) but don't plan on doing a lot else other than making it as clean as possible
The cup has left the building (y) posted the advert up on Friday night on here and on the Facebook pages and got a message Saturday morning asking if they could come and view, turned up midday on Saturday, loved it and shook on a deal and picked up today. I am glad it's gone whole especially...
Yep will shout if they come available if the car is broken, just being honest on the advert it's always the best policy :)
I may have found a buyer so she may live on rather than be broken for parts which would be great (y)
Have put an advert together for the cup, I have a feeling it's going to end up being broken but it's worth a try https://www.cliosport.net/threads/clio-172-cup-£3-000.818061/
I think the Ph1 is the one to keep, if the cup was standard with some history and less owners it may be another story but unfortunately not and I do love a Ph1 :) you know I am going to end up spending some money on the Ph1 if the cup disappears
It does even with all the work that has gone in to the cup :) I tried to justify keeping both but don't think I really can, especially as only 1 garage space, have had a great year in the cup
Small update
Ph1 is not rusty which is good although it does need some work, we have a list, still going to throw it in for an MOT on Monday as will be good to see if they pick anything else up to add to the list :ROFLMAO:
Unfortunately I have come to the decision that the cup is going to have...
They do hold their value well, the anthracite are what I would go for if I was getting some, like you say they don't seem to be that much more expensive new. Think my Williams wheels cost me about £450 to buy rough and refurb, luckily I had some tyres all ready to go on otherwise it get's...
No problems, wheels do look great, I keep looking at 2118's but not managed them yet, maybe this year  would you stay anthracite or go a different colour?
