I think that's fair enough.
My dad had a lot of stuff done on his ph2 172 earlier in the year, cambelt, aux belt, dephaser etc. The bill was around £1300 from a recognised specialist.
Anyone saying you can get that lot done for £400 is probably getting mates rates, doing it themselves, or...
That's a shame, it was rammed on the times I've been (several years ago though) a few Vee's there inc mine & some dudes who aren't on here. The usual RS Clios & Megs, plus loads of old old French stuff (Alpine's, Renault 4's, old Citroens etc)
I think 480 Turbo's are weird, it's like they designed the front end and thought 'oh s**t we haven't put a grille on it' ah yeah it'll have to go under the bumper.
A light bluey grey 991 Turbo S just now, centre lock wheels, massive yellow brake calipers etc Lovely!! Oh and chrome round the side windows, who specs that ??:rolleyes:

Incidentally, I've been watching Minder on ITV4, I was curious about the wide arch MK2 Escort at the start. No one's written anything about it for a long time, but apparently it's in Wales. I hope it's still a runner!!
