Interesting point on the harmonics. My Duratec suffered at close to 9krpm. It could back the bolts out of the thermostat housing. My little Rover K @ 8500rpm was solid as a rock. Do you think a new Ali block would be better, I don’t thing they ever torque the same after their first go...
