Just clicked who this is. Im sure someone will take you easy and you will flying again. You opened a curious thought of joining your old place, didnt work out but ended up going somewhere else and really enjoy it. For that i am greatful.
However chin up and you wont be out of work for long.
PS...
Hold your horses with VMware / Broadcom, thats for the bin in around 5 years. Only BIG BIG places will be using it.
The model they have created will eventually move everyone to HyperV or Nutanix.
Made some documentation for intune application packaging, as ive done loads of late.
Wow, the customer followed it and still made an arse of it.
Absolutely priceless.
That, but also to power the access points themselves. One cable to each device and the switch will be POE (24 port) so will be more than happy running the nvr, cameras and APS in the house. No pissing about with power cables etc.
Ya, they are going intune.
But they currently are on SCCM and want a FULL break with no old shite in azure. Which is fully understandable.
Anyway, was off on holiday, the minions used the WDS box to prep the machines, no need to find hashes either, it does that and uploads it on the OOBE.
Win...
Why even wait till october? We are talking pennies here if you wait. Really say £100 a year is still 0.27p a day. Hardly worth waiting on a shite service till end of the term.
Correct, however i hardly ever use Wireless connections. Purely as i have the 200GB data, so why should I even touch my own network.
Example was in Cyprus and used 80GB while away and European roaming is good when I visit Europe least 4 times a year.
Its more the do new contracts include...
Im in a bit of a pickle it seems.
1. Been with Orange/EE a while
2. Legacy contract (2019) that includes everything pretty much unlimited text/data (200GB data never touch it) and European data/minutes with international roaming too.
3. No real issues, 3/4/5G all work fine.
4. Price - Not above...
Quick one here, have you make sure the deco is only doing MESH and not acting as a "router" i disabled that on many customers and it works happy after that.
What a weekend. Some services collapsed completely. Interesting one of the biggest providers too. Literally didnt get back up to the DDD AJ fight then went off during the PL on sunday.
Wild.
Anyway, VPNs on for many things and you are fine.
Always open for recommendations if anyone needs any :)
How's everyone's performance at present?
Been some amount of services going up and down recently, two i know shut this week too. Hope no one was on that one.
Just got a WDS Server to wipe 500 client machines, then install Windows 11 OOBE with autopilot ps script to auto provision it.
Feel proud of it, but we are not doing the rollout. Good luck :) PS - Client wants it rolled out by October and have a 1:1 device swappage in place.
Essentially the manual way of WinGet-AutoUpdate which does this in a semi automatic fashion. Not doing this for thousand endpoints. Plus customer needs reports for CE compliance.
Question. What you lot using to update applications on machines as a whole? Via intune or script would be smashing.
We have used PatchMyPC in the past, but not seen anything of late that seems to be the better one.
