TVs will eventually loose Netflix and built in apps.. This just adds on and you can side load many other apps. Plus processors and memory is much larger on external devices compared to TVs.
Oh there are absolutely better ones out there.
Google TV and GD1s provide better experiences. If you want to push out then go for Formuler boxes. Absolutely top notch.
They serve a purpose and many people want "cheap as can."

Most NVRs do motion detection to a phone app so yes you can silence them. Remember cctv is only for detection and deterrent. If they see your dad humping tools in and...

I found this ages ago, and works absolutely...
Id not use that initially as need to get to the route of the problem. Has cat5e cable and that would be doing the backhaul as its distance based im sure.
Pretty sure it goes to his workshop so id hope it wasn't using wireless on a distance like that.
Deco have wired backhaul enabled on them.
Essentially @Andy_con is the deco plugged into the ethernet at all locations?
Is it in router mode or Wireless Access Point mode?
Very possible.
Dave definitely did something like that. But its "always worked" and never had any issues.

Need to remember M365 and O365 are different.
M365 comes with Windows licence now.
