Hi guys, been a good while since I’ve posted on here! Just thought I’d let everyone know we are here offering top quality detailing services, which offers all club members a 10% discount across all packages.
Please also take a look at our section on the traders page for work carried out, or...
Thanks guys, I think it has the ktec quick shift kit currently fitted. I replace the brass bushes a few months ago, which improved it massively but it's still not right.
I am unsure of more details as that is all I have been told. I'm waiting to hear back.
Does anyone know if the newer PMS...
Hi guys, my car is away having abit of work done. I have been told the internal linkage is causing the issue. (Gear changes aren't the smoothest)
I've looked at pure Motorsport and seen they do linkages etc. Could anyone advise me on what I need to sort the internal issue? I don't want to...
Hi guys, I have 4 days available next week due to a cancellation.
Decontamination & clay bar
Single stage machine polish
Interior basic vac & dress
Alloy wheel faces sealed
Paintwork finished with Swissvax Shield
The above for an impressive £300 all in.
Alternatively add a 3 year...
Epic combo on this little chap!
Dual stage correction followed up with a 3 year ceramic coating. One happy customer.
Did you know a single stage and 3 year coating is from as little as £400? That's including a full decontamination & paint thickness report.
Maidenhead based, fully insured...
I've had the BG a year now and always said I'd get the front end sorted before really detailing it. 8 weeks ago she had the full front end and rear bumper. So I set to sorting her out whilst I had a nice gap between bookings.
So I opted for wet sanding the bonnet, top half of the wings and...
Now I'm in the process of flatting the new paint. 1500 to 3000 by hand. Still can't coat as I want to give the paint a little longer to settle!
Booked in for belts, coilovers, rear beam powder coat, gearbox rebuild & clutch!
She came back from paint about 4 weeks ago now. Paints pretty settled, just needs flatting and making perfect. Pic taken 2 weeks after paint, still covered in bugs from the drive home. Fitted the goodies though, happy with that!
Dropped her off a few weeks ago for paint! Full front end and the rear bumper. (small scuff on both corners, annoyingly the rest of the bumper is perfect!)
I've been dreading having this done.
Lol! Thanks guys. He was an old boy who obviously can't do it himself. It was quicker for me to buzz over it with a machine than knacker my arms hand polishing it. Plus, I go the extra mile (within limits of course, if it was to take longer I wouldn't have done it, obviously)
The customer was...
The owner has had this car from new, all he wanted was to make it nice again for the summer. So we discussed the best options for him and agreed on an interior detail as the seats looked like they had never been cleaned! Soft top clean and protection and an exterior enhancement detail package...
So this booking was a last minute filler due to an M2 cancelling, as much as I do love working on newer BMW's I certainly wasn't complaining!
2008 model with just 18k odd miles! Cold start up is insane, certainly got the neighbours attention.
Here is a breakdown of the process -
Alloy wheels...
Change of wheels and steering wheel finally happened. (Last August) Had a play with centre caps, settled on the diamonds but have since changed them. One of Betty too because she looked gorgeous!
In between all that I was having my first go at Hydro dipping, this was my first go on an inlet. Not bad results considering it was done in the garden in a plastic box. I need a bigger container to reach the back!
I continued with other little jobs, getting the paintwork acceptable until paint. So a going over with a single stage machine polish, came up lovely as BG always does.
Exhaust tips cleaned up and new hangers
Next up with the paintwork. She's had paint on the front end way back, wasn't the best. So I set to wet sanding, I do plan on having her painted some point down the line, so went balls deep as they say!
At this time I also Resprayed the front grills satin black.
Well, I've had the car just over a year now so thought I'd put a little thread up. At the time I also had the Trophy, but I just don't like capsicum red! So I hunted for a good mileage 182 in BG to replace the Trophy with. I had to travel 300 mile for this one, but a happy purchase.
48k miles...
