I'm not bothered about the performance in all honesty, first time I think I've said that before!
The car is great, but I can't see me keeping it for a great deal longer. I don't even use the performance side of it, 90% of my commute is cruising on A-Roads with cruise whacked on 60mph. If I'm...
I can't believe I haven't used this Forum in so long, it almost feels criminal.
I'm debating a change of daily driver in the next month or so, for no other reason than me wanting to give something else a go, so to speak. I've currently got the below and have done since October-ish. It's...
I paid £17,700 for this through a dealer, which I feel was fair with the optional extras and vehicle condition overall.
I'll probably be selling it next spring/summer though, should hopefully be opting for a mortgage around that time so need to drop my outgoings before hand. As soon as I've...
Guess who's charge pipe split...this guy.
Aluminium upgrade powdercoated black is in the boot, awaiting fitment along with some new tyres next week.
A few weeks ago I had the car on a dyno also just to see how she was running, and whether or not there were any improvements in power since...
So I went for a drive up towards Brecon this afternoon and over to the Black Mountains. Second time with the M135i now and it's a pleasure to drive all around. This time I had the added fun of the decat, which has improved the noise tremendously well! It pops and crackles much louder, and...
I'm currently debating JB4/Remap, pro's and con's to both. I've already come up against some pretty quick machinery and it's left me utterly shocked. 400Bhp from either the JB4/Remap will be just ridiculous.
I personally disagree, hence the decision to go for the Pre LCI model. I could've...
Bland is key! It'll be having a spoiler, front splitter and change of wheels in the future to 'liven' it up a little bit.
When it's clean, boy is it clean. But after 5 minutes driving around South Wales, it's filthy!
Black panel display was a feature, I've just never mentioned it when...
Christ alive it's been far too long since I've used this forum. Long time no...post?
Prior to this I had purchased a Megane 225 as a stop gap car for a year, well it was s**t. I just really didn't get on with the car at all. It lacked the special feeling I expected, it really wasn't quick at...
Well, it's looking completely different now!
Engine/Box and shafts removed
Brakes removed
Front legs removed
Wiring loom removed
She's up on stands awaiting the Axle to come off next week with more bits, it is looking bare!
I'll grab some pics tomorrow to show how sad she looks.
Because they're older, less common and effectively rarer. I never said they're more desirable, and this isn't also my point, it's just a fact that they are (and will continue to be) worth more than MK2's. MK2's tend to be used as track cars more, due to people not wanting to mess around with a...
MK2's will not go up in value, they've been dropping drastically since circa 2014. The MK1's will, as there really is very little left.
106 GTi's have also taken a plummet lately, but then you get the usual idiots adding Sundance/Cheery tax to their cars.
I feel like I should slide myself in here. I've got a fair amount of mods for sale as I'm currently breaking mine OP.
266mm Brakes
Buckers/harnesses/subframes
VTS Wheels with AD08R's
PM me if you want to talk further, I don't really like sales pitches and hijacking.
Car looks very very...
Me and the Girlfriend ventured up Pen Y Fan this morning, incredible route. Just a shame the weather was so bad up top as the views would've been outstanding.
Definitely more to think about in regards to the Tokina then, thanks to all for your input!
If my engine sells this weekend I may treat myself...if I'm allowed.
I've spotted the Tokina brand new for £303.99 here: https://goo.gl/U8VctT
But I've not personally witnessed that website before. I'm not saying that's a dodgy site, but it does seem cheap as others seem to range from £450 upwards?
I like that shot mate, good composition and the sun behind looks spot on!
That's one of the things I was worried about, the distortion and how objects/items are portrayed.
I'll more than likely just go for the Sigma lens, as with the images/types I have in mind I won't really be using F2.8...
I've just been searching various sites, haven't come across one used Tokina yet.
MPB and the likes always have the Sigma's in stock, which is good!
Some interior shots when I'm doing vehicle shoots during this year, but mainly for landscape/Long exposure shots. Looking to broaden my batch of...
Evening guys.
So some of you might have seen that I'm splitting my track car for parts, as with one hobby growing, another must be sacrificed. I'm looking into purchasing the above lens when some of the larger items sell.
Up until recently I was specifically looking at the Canon/Sigma 10-20mm...
Doesn't really bother me, the shell has some damage behind the rear quarter, anf it's tatty. Plus people are offering me daft money for the MK1 front end, win!
I would say the VTS is a very good contender, but as people have mentioned, Clio hands down.
In standard form the VTS are incredibly bad. Handling is okay at best, acceleration wise a standard 1*2 will leave it on the straights. Throw some simple mods on it, and remove excess weight and you're...
