So as I was generally browsing all 3 of my displays turned black and displayed the typical 'no input' message. The pc was still running though and no audible message sounds were heard. I could still go through the menu on my G510 display, CPU still active etc... so it hadn't froze.

I'm still in the honeymoon period with it but at the moment I totally agree! Doesn't feel as aged, although the interior is still made from Tupperware containers [emoji23]

Me and a friend done a box change on mine including new clutch, and we did it in 5.5 hours start to finish, including a couple tea breaks.

Just picked an Xbox up the other day, forza edition. Start up noise is annoying, backwards compatibility list is a joke.... None of my games have transferred over barring dirt 3, and the home screen is weird.

Check the ht leads are the right way round, and try a second set. Mine was running like this and turned out to be the leads were put on the wrong way by a friend of mine, second incident was a dead lead, been fine since.
Not much has happened since the last update, just getting a few bits sorted as it's had some teething problems, one I think is the TDC sensor but seeing as I need to get the airbag light turned off on CLIP I thought I'd wait to see if it was that before I go replacing parts.

To be fair mine only spins up in the first 2 gears if the road is damp or dusty. I find there's plenty of grip otherwise. Like I said it's not worlds apart but it's worth a try, it might be perfect for you!
I've got a ph1 box on mine, it's actually my second one and I prefer it. Not a world of difference but it's definitely better on longer runs (I drive 50 miles a day). If you're refurbing your 129 then go for it, if you like it then stick to that.

So me and @Stopherson managed to get the engine in, get the majority of the work done and then I was left to get the last few bits on and see if it started. It took a few tries, but eventually it started with a high idle, turned out to be the throttle body...
