A month or so ago we decided that our daughter could swap bedrooms to the bigger spare room where my rig lives (lived). The walls are still pink but think it looks quite good. I have the PC next to the rig in an effort to avoid using UsB extensions.

I paid all that money for a nice controller over a year ago and never use it so keen to give it a good go. I'll admit that there was a bit of button fumbling but these things take time.

This is my worry. If I had my way I'd ask for Verdansk or Caldera movement back (hell, I'd be happy to see a Caldera re-loaded map to). I prefer big map on the current Warzone over the smaller Resurgence maps.

One thing to be aware of with having an integrated monitor mount is that it will shake with the FFB from your wheelbase. Obviously the stronger the wheelbase the more pronounced this ends up being. I swapped from my integrated mount to a free standing one for this very reason.

I’d stay clear of all the Trak Racer seats tbh. NLR ES1 is apparently a very good choice of seat (doesn’t look amazing though?) for comfort. I’m torn between that and a Sparco Grid-Q (hoping the TrakRacer seat mounts I have right now fit onto the Grid-Q).

Do not buy the TrakRacer GT seat. It’s dogshit. Uncomfortable for racing and the back flexes when stamping hard on the brakes. I’ll be replacing mine with a Sparco GridQ soon. I have the TR80 and it manages well with my 27Nm wheelbase and hydraulic brakes.

You should get into iRacing bud. We did the Le Majors (Le Man 24 hours) the weekend before last. Its fudgingly awesome (We won our split).

That looks like flex city right there. That will be absolute trash. Then consider what other rigs you can get for the same money.

If they did go to the wall someone else would buy them. There is value in the brand. It’s just been run badly.

VIR is a class track. There are a loads of manufactured tracks that should get deleted long before VIR.

I also would suggest a standalone monitor stand as opposed to integrated. I found (when using a higher torque wheelbase) that it can lead to the monitor shaking quite a bit.

Never buy direct from Trak Racer. They are useless. I used Demon Tweeks for their stuff.

Satisfaction lasts for 15 mins before you look at the next thing to improve. Just remember though, neither the Xbox or PS5 support UW monitor so you’d be left with black boxes either side of the display. PC though is where the proper sims are. IRacing is next level with ACC also reasonable.
