Which wet tyres do I use? R1r's. Excellent in the wet, I wouldn't use anything else. Others may say different, but I found them to be the best.

Valeo is fine, unless running 220 plus and more torque. Had a polo rad, which was fine, but after the flywheel came off, and damaged everything under the bonnet. I've replaced it with a Fabia one. It's a little longer, but still only £40 odd, light, and no problems.

Just gotta to love some people.

It seems like you have done the most obvious checks, but without actually seeing it, it's very hard to guess what could be wrong, apart from twisted. Looking forward to seeing you out with us next year.

Yes. Just cut into it, then you can see what you don't want. Cut it all back, and I think it was a biscuit box lid, siliconed on and sprayed black. Job don.

Might be in the build thread somewhere. I know it involved a dremmel, and a lot of mess. But the heater box is much slimmer now,esp without all the footwell stuff on it.

I cut all the sh1tty bits off the heater, then stuck a piece of black plastic across the front of it. It only goes up to the screen, and nothing to the footwell. Much tidier.
