I'm a technophobe who's having issues connecting my smart TV and phone to the internet in my room. I'm constantly losing connection as it appears the router is too far from my devices, but I was told today that if I bought a WIFI booster box it would solve my issues.
Can anyone confirm this or...
I think it's more frustrating than boring, but I know where you're coming from. Something quiet and refined is still dull in comparison, but I understand that overtaking power has its benefits.
Even if a car is awful on long runs it still doesn't mean it's boring! The demand for quiet, safe, comfortable and easy-to-drive cars is higher than ever, so the dullest cars tend to be the new ones!
I think my idea of boring is a little different to most on here. I quite like driving little shitboxes because they have character.
Anything quiet and comfortable with no redeemable features bores me, so any Vauxhall diesels, German VAG diesels and pretty much anything modern from Hyundai or...
Here's my tracktime vid... Pathetic driving really seeing as I'm driving a standard ST150 and managing to overtake everything bar a race RX-8 lol. Excuse the poor camera placement!
It's just another chavvy car show, with all the usual stuff going on. I went last year and did some tracktime too, and I must admit I had a decent day all in all.
I've owned the same three cars, but thought the Fiesta was the best overall. My least favourite was the Civic due to its naff steering and lack of torque. I did enjoy my 197 but the gearbox was awful, and I bought mine new...
IMO a Type-R is a nicer car to drive and definitely better built, and the driving position and gearbox are way better. In terms of driving enjoyment I'd agree that the Clio has it nailed.
I've been offered a good price on a 3.5 so I'm seriously considering sticking my Mk1 up for sale and doing a deal. Just need to have a test drive to make sure I'm impressed, but I'm starting to like the idea of buying a car 20 years newer! Lol
Still happy with yours, @JoeyD ? It looks the...
I'm just a tight b*****d lol. I'd love something like your Chevy though... I grew up watching Dukes of Hazard, Smokey & the Bandit and the Fall Guy so anything Americana is cool as hell IMO!
