Update on clio....had a quote from FourAshes going to follow up on them monday....fingers crossed all goes well.

Just following on from the Evo Triangle thread here....its terrible when you have money sitting waiting but when you ask friends,garages for quotes and they either come back too high or just make you wait two or three days...grrrrrrr.

She`s back home.....apart from only having half an engine,after a good wash she still looks ok...got some feelers out so not going to advertise for an engine on here just yet.

Because i just really need the block and cylinder all the other bits i can just add on...only thing i think i`ll need new is belts.

And at the end of the day,...still got a car which i know the history of....just getting someone to buy and fit an engine.

As soon as ive got the car back i`ll put a wanted ad on here for a replacement engine,and if someone can fit it too....ive still got the £500....hopefully that can cover the cost of a replacement engine and someone fitting it.

Yes i`ll do that....off to work now so not back on til tomorrow.

Update....Tcr are returning the car back to my address tomorrow...going to go from there for the time being,would love it to go as a whole car but can understand some might just want bits....once i decide then i`ll be selling on the pages on here.

MMMmmm thats an option....i`d like TCR to buy it off me....if not,then i`ll have the 5 alloys,k-tec exhaust,cup spoiler,rs inlet and scrap the rest...then put that to the 500.

Looking like a cheap run about instead...simply havnt got the money for another...the £500 i was going to use for repairs will buy a cheap piece of tat instead.

If Lee finds any more damage then a replacement engine will be the best option.....just having to wait and see.And the valves are £100 to buy new,lee.

Ive told Lee to carry on for the moment...even if i can get another engine its the labour costs of fitting it.....just having to hope not much more damage.

Ok....the valves are bent so they need replacing...main worry is one of the cams arnt turning so the head is coming off to find out why,the money the mrs has promised me has almost gone already...words cant describe how i feel at this minute.

lol....nice silent pirouette...On a serious note the mrs has told me i have 500 notes avaliable for the fix....she is just amazing sometimes.

Its like waiting for results from the doctor after a test.....proper anxious.

Just felt the back end go out on me so as i corrected i hit the grass.....just a passenger from then on...but either a tree branch or actually the megane splitter has damaged the crank pulley???.
