How fun is a 182 as a daily?

Terrible advice, my mum had one and it was awful..... I’d much rather have a standard Clio than one of these. Tiny, rattley, not quick considering, noisey and cheap. A 182 is far better in everyday and better equipped and cheaper.

    All Titanium & Icebergs!

I made a template card one first and used various metal shaping techniques to achieve the desired shape then filled, primed and painted as I’m a fabricator and painter by trade. I tried to get these mass produced in carbon and fibreglass but knowbody wanted to pay the money for it so im the...

    RB 182 Project

Much better mate..... Yeah you may need to push the ecu over abit mines a good 5-10mm away so loosen the bolts and have a move about. You can also bend the tab slightly to make it more level and sit upright. I used a non marking set of pliers. As mine was really bent for some reason.

    Show me your... errrr... holes

if I was to produce some I’d have them fill the oem fog surround abit better, I do like the fixing points. I don’t think it would be difficult to produce, the fixing point I’d have to weld on as I doubt I could engineer them with them on as it would be billet then and very expensive. Il be over...

Greetings from the south east 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Hi mate, welcome to the SE club. As for mods, I think one of my battery cover/intake covers lifts the bay big time. Whilst helping heat soak. I also rate the ps3 tyres and suspension refresh. good check over if the cam cover bolts, clean up the throttle body, easy little bits go along way I find.

    182_steve's FF 182 progress thread!

I reckon the shifter will be the best thing you’ve fitted as people say they are excellent bar the vibration. Be good to see the difference in having it fitted and not. Sure it depends on where you put it on the kit aswell regards how well it works. I’m waiting for a BMS shifter to pop up...

    Kyles Clio 172 Cup Project

When I did my cage and mounts I removed the rear inner arch stonechip/sealer it was so thick. The plate sealed so much better on the body then. Just something to consider mate. Obviously have to remove the burnt stone chip when you weld in the mounts aswell underneath and re apply. Someone on...
