Just realised I have the week off after this is out. I think the temptation may be too strong! Might actually get some career done if I can play for a week, get past those b*****d karts
Another big thanks to the organising team, a really good year! I'm still feeling suitably rough so must have had a good time last night.
Great work with the raffle too, well happy to win in that for the first time.
Now if one of the admins/mods could give me back access to the marketplace when...
Dread to think how much it's cost to hire them all! and how much the deposit is, I still can't get my head around the risk they take when they hire these.
Didn't play with the set up but got a bit bored of getting Eau Rouge wrong and having the lap invalidated! Tricky.
There's a lot (!) of time to be found but don't know how people actually manage a 1:45
I will try and grab a photo when I can but someone near me has just bought a Jaguar Mk2. Looks a bit ropey at the moment so I assume he is going to be restoring it, looking forward to seeing the changes as I drive past!
Great to hear, I've only managed to play stupid stuff with VR, and whilst Surgeon Simulater is hilarious it doesn't feel like it's really the technology at its best.
This is the only game that is tempting me to get a VR set at some point. Some of the videos with VR are amazingly cool, could easily be mistaken for real life
Another recommendation for The Last of Us & Dirt 4. I'd possibly wait for Project Cars 2 but I'm not certain when it's out.
Good choice with the Crash Bandicoot games, they've done a great job and they are just as fun to play
I saw lots of coverage on instagram of that concourse at the weekend. Did you get any shots of the merc AMG CLKGTR roadster? I adore how insane those things are
I've not got tickets yet no, I'm a bit pissed off that I haven't got the Clio to a track worthy state yet so that kind of had me questioning it.
However I think I need to go for the hat-rick of falling a sleep drunk in a chair so I most likely will be!
I haven't got round to playing with a wheel yet so have only had a go at simulation with a pad but it's very good. A million times better than Project Cars ever was with a pad, I actually feel I could play for just fun without having to get a whole set up out.
Also the crosskarts are b******s...
Yes would be nice to not worry about engine rebuilds! Although I don't think they are quite as expensive as they once were for a basic rebuild.
Certainly an engine with great character, it's a real shame they can't make rotarys work for the wider market as they are something special
They are a proper attainable dream car for me but I just don't know if I could bring myself to buy one. The worry they must come with would surely sour the experience.
They really are one of the best 90's cars though.
I really hope your right and it's something special, the first was brilliant.
I appreciate you know more about what goes on with the development of these titles, it's your industry I think? It just seems so common for games to be delayed, IMO they shouldn't be giving release dates until they're...
I can appreciate how much work there is and I can assure you I'm not worked up about it.
But I don't agree that a company as experienced as rockstar isn't capable of giving a release date that is realistic, and it's by no means the first time they've done it. It is purely a marketing technique
Rockstar make some fantastic games and I can't wait for this to be released but I'm getting pretty sick of them delaying every single game they announce.
The game industry takes the piss quite a lot of the time.
