Guys, following on from my post a few pages back and some interest in my enclosed pod filter setup, i have embarked on a group buy for a quality version to be produced. Refer to this: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/type-x-airbox-pod-filter-enclosure-group-buy.766793/#post-10627341
I would rate them as comfortable absolutely, it's all a matter of personal preference at the end of the day, as no two bodies are exactly the same either, FYI.
Thanks. I've actually just purchased a carbon front splitter for it , though that will go on in spring, and a few other little touches. It actually needs the front bar, bonnet and mirrors resprayed, though I may just give it a full respray down the track possibly.
Let me know how you go, I have made initially enquiries to get some produced to a professional level. However not looking to make any money out of it btw. More like a group buy at cost price if there is a enough interest.
Thanks man, it's a hybrid setup with the alloy bend but a green cotton pod instead.
I have a brand new OE grille sitting here ready to get installed, as the top grille annoys me to no end as well. I did consider re spraying to satin black but this is a trophy and needs the OE feel.
I made it myself out of aluminium sheet metal, DIY home job. If people are keen i can see if i can find someone to replicate and refine the template for CS.
Lovely trophy! Although I am struggling with the idea of breaking away from the authenticity of the 182 trophy concept and modding one. Though this example makes perfect sense.
Ah bugger not much hope then for peak power, but how about peak torque, Improved?
How much power should one expect with matched inlets Coupled with ported heads and 438 cams , high comp pistons, rods and balanced crank.
Possible to stroke the f4r even ?
Thats not too bad..
Looking for someone local to do it though, but 225-230bhp at the engine for high comp pistons, balanced, blueprinted, cams, head work, ported inlets, and an OE throttle body.
