I know what you mean with the 172 cup rear brakes. They are hardly used so the surface rust doesn't really clear. I did a track session then touched the rear discs on my cup and they were only lukewarm.

I've found that bump is fine if you're a big wimp like me and go over at 80mph. Seeing all the white meganes crashed there doesn't bode well for my next trip in my white megane....

I'd say about how they could have done it to an elderly person at risk of a heart attack etc. One of the local schools where I work had some students dropping house bricks off the overpass onto the duel carriageway below, something bad must have happened!

I'd go to the school and emphasize how you nearly lost control of the car and had your life endangered. You can bet something will be done about it then!
