The stamp means nothing it's the record with the invoices that count Mark. Whoever bought Suzanne's rb197 from Renaultretail was told the cam belt had been changed but he contacted James and he told them it was due hence why not showing on any invoices with the history. Even when they refixed my...
Sounds dodgy to me Mark, in the trade not sure of the mileage one careful lady owner, I went in a main dealer to get a part for Suzannes car and the service man tells me her car has free Renault servicing for 4 years At least if you do it yourself it gets done properly Mark and you have the...
They said the same thing about the Clio3RS and now because some of you can afford one they are great. Meanwhile we will have to put up with misguided trolling from people who hate Renault because they are not allowed a test drive.
Perhaps we could sort a monthly meet, evenings, at a pub in Chelmsford being central, so we can shelter from the rain. At the moment nothing is happening and neither the Harlow or the Saffend lot want to travel. When Kyle was Rep he planned many meets at which no members attended half way house...
Just looked at one like this on Auto trader with the black speedline wheels, private seller, just check the gearbox in these for a crunch into 2nd or 4th they all go.
I don't think Renault need to release the rs16 Clio for general sale the current Trophy/ facelift is adequate for trackday and road use. The amount of money Renault will need to spend on the F1 car to get it competitive is more of a priority at present. I would have liked to have seen the cup...
The only issue I've had with Suzanne's 200t is wind noise from the front door seals, check when you try drive one and get them changed under the warranty Find a lux with leather and a cup chassis if pos, colour silver or yellow
Perhaps the way forward for cliosport is to ditch this forum and have a local monthly meet, like the Ford rs owners club, then people could discuss cars etc in real life. The obvious down side to this is stars with golf r,s could not attend as they would be voicing opinions at the golf vw club...
I'm trying to work out if you are a troll, deluded or have never seen a trophy let alone been in one. I suspect all are true but can only suggest you contact Jeremy T at Renault and get him to take you for a ride. I like the fact that they look like a normal Clio but go like hell. Have no arch...
I like the car as it is, the cup spoiler etc is right for the car imo, just budget for new tyres and a gearbox. Most have been changed by 30k miles but it is the most likely reason to PX or sell other than a front end. I had a 11 plate but nimbus if you need any advice
I'm happy to meet at the Dick Turpin or the squadron at North Weald either today or tomorrow but I text Mark and he never replied and Daves busy at the Carnival
They are both fine Ben The trophy is very good on track but Suzanne's car with map and cup chassis is ideal for everyday driving had no issues with either car. Hi to Vicki
