Round 4 - 13/September/2020
Haven’t had a bit of a write up on here for a while. A couple of quick posts and pictures to keep the thread up to date.
Round 4 round up. Not the best results for us this weekend but we had a good time trying. Had made a few changes to try and help with the...
SLS R3 results - clockwise 23rd August
Sunday. What a day. Everyone’s preferred way around Knockhill. After my off on Saturday I had a bit of nerves heading out again in the warm up and practice, still playing with adjuster knobs to try and kill out some understeer ( still haven’t got to the...
Thanks very much, I do try. The cars been built and raced on a very tight budget so I appreciate the comments.
I've lifted the car a few times with the forklift but I'm not sure I would lift any era of 911.
August 2020 cont.
The second and third round of super lap Scotland fell over 1 weekend. This was no doubt fairly hard on the car, it was also hard on everyone envolved in getting me here. I appreciate the time and effort the boys go to help me out at each event.

Fantastic write up, The last Picture looks straight out of Forza or GT.
How did you find having the PBS in the rear, something I'm currently looking into.

In preparation for my new BC’s coming I’ve fitted some new track rod ends and bottom ball joints. Unfortunately I’d ordered my suspension just a little later than expected so they wouldn’t be here for the first round of Super Lap.
I had my friend Stevie...

9-5 Sessions day. I’m generally not a fan of the sessions. It’s too compact, too short and too much waiting about. But with the lack of track time available I decided to book on regardless.
Wasn’t overly feeling it but as the day wore on I started to get a...
March - July 2020
Current mileage: 151,810
Been an odd few months, with not much doing anywhere. During the lockdown period the car mostly sat outside with the occasional wash.
Towards the end of lock down I started preparing the car for getting back on track. Spanner checks and topping up...
