Was about 2 weeks in that they phoned me I think. Got the call through on my mobile but that's my main number on my sky account as I don't have a landline.
How long have you been with Sky? The girl I spoke to on the phone made a comment about me being with them for 3 years, but could've just...
Nice little surprise to the deal I got above when I checked my updated billing. Once they've took off the multiscreen it's somehow come down to £43.50 a month! Not complaining at that. Forgot that as well as Netflix I'm also getting Paramount+ and Discovery+ access through Sky too, not that I've...
Had the cancellation call from Sky today. Wasn't expecting much but they've actually came back with a decent offer.
Sky Signature with Netflix included, UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Multiroom for £58 a month. Fucked multiroom off, which brought it down to I think £50 or £51pm.
I probably...
I'm hoping they still do that. I've just told them to cancel it too, so the waiting game begins.
Eventually got down to £70 but that was dropping multiroom. Tbh, it isn't bad, considering it includes Netflix which would be £15.99pm anyway, so really only £54 for the TV with Sports, Cinema &...
On webchat to Sky just now. Been out of contract for ages paying £90 a month and needed it sorted.
It's taken the guy 45 minutes to come back and tell me the best offer they can do is £94pm plus a £20 admin fee?! 😂 and has tried to sell it to me by saying that it includes the price difference...
No USB C, and no idea how it fairs for photography but I have this and it's been fantastic for work and a bit of gaming.

Was one of the best specced monitors I could find for the price at the time but that was 2 years ago and may be...
I use the stylus way more than I ever thought I would on my S23. Even just for browsing s**t online, it's a nice change to constantly scrolling with your thumb.
It is a huge phone make no mistake about that but you get used to it fairly quickly.
Also if Dex is something you'd actually use...
Are you that underwhelmed by it?
The actual performance of the phone is completely night and day compared to my S21U. Barely heats up or slows down performance wise no matter what I'm doing. S21 was almost always throttling performance when it came to intensive stuff.
Battery life is the best...
Bring in the developer tab from File>Options>Customise Ribbon if it's not already there. Within that, you'll have a 'controls' and a 'protect' part to the ribbon within the developer part. You can add content control boxes, and restrict editing from there.
Write up the whole document, adding...
Bixby is shite. Actually, that's unfair, it's OK ish for some stuff, but Bixby routines is an entirely separate app for automating stuff and it's brilliant. I use it for a bunch of different stuff.
For example, when I connect to my cars bluetooth it starts spotify and maps automatically. Got...
Was about to say I'm more than happy with mines after you asked how they were, but guess there's no point now if you've bought one lol. Decent deal that, especially with the free buds as well.
But yeah, you'll not be disappointed. Only minor gripe I have is some bixby routines being...
I used to be skeptical of them a bit but never had issues. I used Voxi for ages back when they first came out and targeted themselves towards younger audiences with the whole free social media data thing and ironically they were somehow better than Vodafone who's network they use.
Switched to...
Just taken a sim with Smarty for £8 a month & 24gb data. 30 day rolling too so can increase/decrease that whenever I wanted or jump to another deal whenever.
They use Three network which is great where I am but I have heard mixed reviews about them tbf.
Yeah that's miles better than what I'd usually get lol. TBH I think mines could've done with a factory reset and it would've improved things because a lot of it just seemed to be background drain I could never work out, but I just dealt with it as it was rather than have the hassle of...
Aye, I almost always chucked it on charge in the evenings for a top up. Except maybe the days it'd spend an hour or two connected to the car driving to work and back.
5 hours screen on time was pretty much unachieveable on the S21u. Meanwhile, I'm sat at just under 5hrs now with 40% battery...
Battery life so far is insane compared to my S21u. Fully charged on Monday night, dropped 3% overnight and after a whole day's use with some maps usage and a couple hours of Spotify, I still went to bed with 25% battery.
Fully charged again this morning at about 6am and I'm still sitting at 65%...
Download Good Guardians. That's the 'client' you need to open the galaxy app booster app without always going into the galaxy store. There's loads of other handy apps within it too for better battery management, RAM management and stuff. I've used them since I got my S21 and it definitely helps...
Aye I'm the same, phone was full of shite and TBH I'm just transferring it all over but at least I've got twice the storage now. I hate not having my pictures stored on the phone and relying on them from the cloud but it's probably because I've dealt with slow as f**k internet on Vodafone for 2...
Yeah I spoke too soon earlier 😂 Transfer went fine then it fucked up for some reason. Just started it again and transferred everything apart from pictures and videos. Reduced the transfer size by about 80% and I had a working phone within about 20 minutes.
I'll go back and transfer photos and...
That's exactly what I'm doing right now. They've made it surprisingly easy though, almost iPhone levels of simplicity! Scan a QR code and away it goes doing it all for you.
Can confirm it has a dual sim slot plus eSim capability.
Lol yeah looks like it's all above board with the finance 😂
I just assumed they would be dual SIM but looks like it varies by region. They have eSIM capability either way though so you could always switch one to that if you need the two.
Traded in my S21 Ultra. £410 trade in for the 256gb model
The option I took used Glow finance or something like that. They offer straight up 0% finance (which is what I took) or this 'Samsung Flex' which is slightly different with lower payments and a larger final payment.
Oh, and no fee for repaying early. They also signed up the direct debit right...
I was tempted by the Graphite for the fact it was an 'exclusive' colour too but I didn't like the fact it was just the rear of the phone that was graphite and the rest was black. Also the green just looked really cool in the youtube videos I watched!
That's pretty good, I'm getting 24gb on a 30...
Yeah, I've no idea wtf I was doing before but the options came up straight away for me this time, sorted!
512gb S23 Ultra in green pre-ordered. £110 upfront, £30pm for 24 months. Cheap SIM deal at £8pm. Not going to get better than that for a brand new phone!
Anyone who's pre-ordered the S23 via Samsung's own finance options... When does it let you change the length of the term? It's telling me 36 months all the way through until the very last step before actually hitting the order button.
Am I doing something wrong or does it give the option to...
That's exactly what I'm thinking of doing. Good price on the trade in for the S21U so would be daft not to. Sod getting it on a contract that's going to go up in price like 15% in a couple of months!
Once I've spoke to Vodafone tomorrow and cancelled now that I'm out of contract I'll be getting...
I've read about so many issues with Goodyear's. The BMW F3X groups on Facebook seem to be full of posts about the sidewalls bulging. I've ran about 70k miles on a mix of Assy 3 and 5's and thankfully never had an issue. Mate of mine swears by them too and has ran them on every car he's had for...
