Quite tempted by the bump steer kit ^^^
I am going to be replaceing treack rod ends over the next month and for the extra £20 i could be tempted.
I think dewis has a bump steer gauge too for setting up :) i will be interested to see...
Overall we had a brilliant day at Bedford :) all the recent efforts and upgrades were well worth it, the car handles far better than it did :)
The cooksport springs and the pms top mount and brace kit are well worth the money :)
We were on 888's and ao48rs all day, so the wet conditions saw us...
Spare track wheels received
Gave them a clean and primer
Then a spray In BMW graphite grey
The in clear coat
I'm quite pleased...looking forward to trying them on lol, ao48r's being fitted this week :)
Had a parcel arrive today:
With a nice return address
And wrapped beyond belief
It was,
Wrapped on pacel paper,
In a box,
Wrapped in duct tape
Wrapped in masking tape
Cable tied
Thanks nick lol
Many hours later I got to this
So this evening I will be
Fitting new brake pads...
Well I came out to the car and someone done this
Luckily I slipped on eBay the week before abd this came
It looks and feels brilliant
Need to adjust the seat and wire in the horn but its all ready to go otherwise
Next up to replace brake pads and check the eml as annoyingly its come...
Mine was doing this, but had a lumpy idle and smelled like petrol on idle, had the plugs and and one was really black, changed injector.. Light out and car running perfectly :)
This is more or less what we did recently with the addition of a set of cooksport springs and rear camber shims (this is for a track car)
personally when you can buy a complete wishbone with bushes and ball joint reday to go i dont know why you would bother changing for a powerflex bush?
if...
Brilliant, thanks mate :)
Either need to bite the bullet and pay someone to set the camber and toe again or wait for Dewis to COBE down the following weekend :)
This is what I plan to try but I will have to wait to try it as until Dewis brings all his kit I will be setting it up blind lol
Only seeking to find out what others have done to see what they gave achieved :)
I bought it with the bolts fitted, so have never tested it lol.
When fitting I did the following:
Slacked of the bottom and top bolts, turned the bolt till I got the meter to read as much castor as possible lol tab on washer was facing down.
Any issues??
