Have you removed the cover? It'll have some sort of plastic cover over it that you need to remove first.
I can't remember the Clio specifically but every one I remember doing has some sort of retaining clip on the cover, remove said clip, remove cover, slide out old filter (remembering the...
My 197 used to do this if I parked in a certain spot on my driveway. The only thing I could put it down to was the oil draining out of the dephaser. It would always clear after a couple of seconds.
Should be in the service book somewhere if you have it. I can't see anything definitive online but if you set up a login on the My Renault webpage and put your car reg in it should give you access to the maintenance schedule.
Yes mate, just A/C. Is it not worth holding out for something higher spec? It'll be a b**ch to move on when you come to sell it.
Have you seen the red one in person yet?
I don't know the car, but It's very basic - I can tell you that.
No climate, no Recaros, no Cup pack, no Xenons.
Seems a lot for the mileage and spec IMO
Not a Clio but I was having a similar noise from my Mini (see my thread for full details) but it ended up being internal to the rack and solved with a £30 2nd hand one.
So while fingers crossed it's the rack bolts, it has potential to be something more still.
I had them in my R27 too, wouldn't buy a MK3 without them personally. Really comfortable on long journeys (at least for me, I appreciate not everyone is the same when it comes to seating positions)
No, ESP will be on all 200's, Cruise might have been an option on the cup models though (don't...
I'd be looking a little deeper into this. Unless you're sitting stationery for a very long time, it shouldn't overheat regardless of the fan not working. General driving shouldn't cause an engine to overheat.
You realise technically it should still fail - if it left the factory with an airbag they are meant to be there (and functional ie no warnings) for it to pass.
Hopefully you get a friendly tester, or one that hasn't read the memo!
What makes you think that? If they get brighter with main beam switched on, then they are working surely?
Shouldn't be hard to figure out what's happening. Stand in front and get someone to turn on the lights a stage at a time to see what's going on. Or if you don't have a mate to hand park...
What's the guys age got to do with a minor traffic shunt? s**t happens, could have happened to anyone of any age.
Still s**t though, but I'd do what you are planning and swap it all over to a new shell.
I know you've had the alignment done, but is it worth taking it somewhere else just to have them check it? Most places will check it for free and only charge if you need/want it corrected.
It's a myth that the battery life is reduced with wireless charging.
It is less efficient however, so will cost more money to charge your phone, I'd imagine @MarkCup has a spreadsheet showing the extra cost over the life of your phone :tongueout:
I broke my T40 too, think it was on a brake disc retaining bolt.
They're really good at replacing stuff now, no longer need the receipt and I've heard they replace the ratchets now too? Can anyone confirm?
I've recently used some glass based coating from Auto Allure (a trader on here) on my dads car, excellent stuff and well worth it. Not sure I'd pay someone to do it as it's quite pricey, but I have the gear needed so did it myself.
How about a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter to be able to use the impact sockets you have? But as above, I've been using my normal Halfords sockets on my Makita impact driver (160nm) without issue.
My driver is a 1/4 drive but I have a set of 3 adapters to let me put 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 drive sockets on, so can...
Every release bearing I've had go has made noise with your foot OFF the pedal. Noise tends to go away when the bearing is under pressure.
In fact the one in my mini is noisy now, until I put my foot on the clutch. I'll be leaving it until it gets a lot worse before touching it.
