    It was only when they tried to take the payment and it failed they phoned me and I asked then. I guess if it failed when they tried to take it from your debit and it failed you could.

    Yep. Couldn't do that with my Xbox One. Luckily, my card had changed since I placed the order so they had to reprocess it and I was able to change delivery address then.
