Lol at this thread... I expected something different ;) i replaced the grill on my girlfriends mk2 yesterday and there is absolutely no need for any smacking. Undo the two plastic clips/screws on the top on the grill, slide your hand down the back of the grill and undo all of the clips on each...

My Girlfriend left her Clio with me today while she is at work so I could give it a good going over. I took plenty of photographs along the way so I could do a write up to share with you all. A few before's, the pictures don't really show how bad it was but trust me it was pretty bad! Deep...

I need a decontamination product, ideally i'd have ordered Iron Out or something but I totally forgot and i'm doing the car tomorrow. Do Halfords (or somewhere) sell anything similar that would do a good job of decontaminating? ... if not I'll have to go without :(
