That's what puts me off fitting one, leaks! The last two I have seen have been leaking once tested.
Going to need a video of the filter please, not even any on YouTube that I could find!
Got a spare intercooler and pipework/fittings dumped anywhere? As for a better air filter, I cannot imagine a diesel engine with an open cone lol. Does it just sound like a toolbox falling down the stairs?
Mine is a dCi 65 which I was led to believe was mapped.
Compared to an 80, mine idles slightly higher so isn't as chuggy, and from standing start is identical if not just ahead of an 80. Also a 2nd gear pull to 4th test was completely identical. Both cars similar mileage, but the 80 is looked...
Most of the time the clips are missing or worn out, mine certainly are.
I would just leave it as along the roof looks good so probably the best it will fit, but I know what you mean it does almost feel very aftermarket and would like to compare with a Trophy spoiler
Do the mounting screws do up ok or are they loose?
From factory I think they are mean't to be clipped on too but most are broken but would probably help and takes the stress off the screw mountings
As I said in your other Cup spoiler thread always check the brake light and washer before final...
Injectors can also seize in which without the proper tools can potentially mean a lot of extra work if they snap
They also need coding to fine tune everything but if you have a copy of Clip you can do it yourself by reading the codes printed on the new ones
I believe the dCi 80 is only one...
Sounds like you could do with a copy of Clip to plug it in and see what's going on.
Could be swapping injectors thats confusing things or something else electrical. Hopefully not the pump as don't want to mess around with the belt again.
Have you tried it with easystart?
Good because that 172 Cup is the biggest sack of s**t I have ever heard.
The YouTube clip makes me feel very old as I was doing similar but maybe 15 years ago :(
Looks pretty universal, so if your not confident in doing it then I'm sure a garage wouldn't charge a massive amount but make sure...
Looks like you need some new retaining clips, pictures look like you have missing ones too?
Touching the rear beam could be because they are loose or the hard lines themselves have been bent or pulled around.
Here's some photos of when I did mine but I think I needed to bend the clips a little...
Wrong drivetrain going on somewhere? Shafts / running it very low / wrong parts fitted / parts fitted wrong / something missing?!
Buy another Clio and swap the turbo kit lol?
