Thanks Mel, i love 5s to pieces!! Badboy bonnets do suit them, but they are a bit dated now - i actually modified the Standard grille on mine - just cut all the slats away and left the Renault badge, then just meshed it - everyone thought it was an aftermarket one as it looked so different...

Silver looks too Barry for me - the Black looks way better, nice and subtle and also purposeful - not "Look at me ive got a modified air filter system" hehe

306 GTI-6s are often going bang when fitted with aftermarket induction kits as they sit so low down - as soon as they take in water, youre talking a good few £££/£s for a rebuild! On the Clio the filter itself still sits quite high so it may be ok - i doubt it would suck water up that far, but...

My 16v used to do exactly that with a full Mongoose System and Air filter - nothing else! Sounded awesome though, i loved it!
