Andy - you reallllly have no idea lol!
The Renault 5 GT Turbo is pretty much as you see it in the first pic, this is not a replica, modding one is no different to people modding a 16v, cup, williams or V6.
Why would anyone want to produce a replica?!?
Are you talking about the Renault 5...
Thanks Mel, i love 5s to pieces!!
Badboy bonnets do suit them, but they are a bit dated now - i actually modified the Standard grille on mine - just cut all the slats away and left the Renault badge, then just meshed it - everyone thought it was an aftermarket one as it looked so different...
Still love 5s - as said already though Vents, Grille, Mirrors and Wheels need sorting - about £1000 should cover most of it?
Im sure itll be rude when finished!
This was my 5 - i WILL own another one yet!

182_Blue, all i meant was that yeah they look good, but the difference is that big between a brand new car, and a car thats a couple of months old thats been polished etc.
All i mean is that it doesnt really prove/show anything surprising.
The way to show how good these products are is on...
It makes me laugh seeing all these threads about Polish and how clean cars are - THEYRE ALL NEARLY NEW CARS lol
Id be impressed if a 1994 Williams was cleaned up like this, and i think that would also show how good these products are.
I dont really expect your nice new Cups and 182s to look...
Silver looks too Barry for me - the Black looks way better, nice and subtle and also purposeful - not "Look at me ive got a modified air filter system" hehe
Id say Black is about the only one id go for there..... and they dont look that nice :-(
I suppose the Phase 2s just dont seem to really suit the car (IMO), not in anything other then standard anyway?
F*ck me you boys need to come to a VW meet!
Its alllll about the Stretch!
Not keen on the Front Bumper but everything else looks good! Its good to see someone try something a bit different too!
Well i dont really know how these Viper kits work - they may be protected from Water but i cant really see how.......
Just dont drive through any Fords and it should be ok!
306 GTI-6s are often going bang when fitted with aftermarket induction kits as they sit so low down - as soon as they take in water, youre talking a good few £££/£s for a rebuild!
On the Clio the filter itself still sits quite high so it may be ok - i doubt it would suck water up that far, but...
Cant you put it behind the Grille/Mesh?? (obviously youll need a new piece of Grille now youve hacked up the old one) hehe
If not id paint it Black so its as discreet as possible!
At least its not a 1.2 - like normal ;-)
I dont personally like it, but i wouldnt call him names etc for doing that to it - each to their own and all that.
To be fair, our opinions dont really matter, we dont own it and dont have to drive it so at the end of the day - why the hell are you...
There were a couple more cars to the right but i couldnt squeeze them in at the time - I think Digi Cams had only just been invented lol - well, it seems like ages ago anyway :D
OMG i forgot about this, but just found a pic on my pc at work!
This was a meet early in 2002 i believe, it was a RR Day at Power Engineering.
Mine is the Silver 16v, anyone else recognise their cars or faces lol...
VW Centres are already on order - just waiting for them!
Tom - Did you get it blended into the bonnet, as i cant stand to have a real obvious looking cut out there..... i want it to be invisible - as if it was never there if i do it at all??
Yeah but to change the grille you also need an insert for the bonnnet as at the moment it has a small cut out for the VW Badge........ not quite as easy as just changing the grille unfortunately :-(
Will get around to it though, its just another thing on the list at the moment lol!
I also...
