Pictures of my new Clio 182? For one.

Well obviously you guys seem to have more experience with camera's, I am less than a day into mine ( although I have used the college's DSLR and have basic knowledge of how to use one ) I am still nowhere near up to scratch, But it is just a bit of fun, remember.

Haha yes, it was like Christmas morning as a kid again.

Just thought it would be an interesting comparison, for the people thinking of purchasing a DSLR, which only cost me £299 + £9 for a memory card.

Well to highlight the difference and why an DSLR is a worthwhile investment perhaps.

More than likely I changed my D.O.B from November to August and because I was 23 and not 22, the quotes dropped considerably. But obviously for my actual insurance policy I unfortunately had to tell the truth.

I got my Insurance for a 182 slightly modified for £780 pa, 22 year old, 2 NCB, 5+ years driving with full licence + Mum as a named driver and a medium risk postcode.

If you get anymore news on Saturday, can you give us a shout? I am not sure if it's the build quality of Renaults but there seems to be a lot of creaks coming from the clutch/steering at slow speeds on my 182 only after a fairly long journey.

I'll second that, fantastic first car - small, easy to drive/park.

I am more of a nerd so watch stuff like: Ancient Aliens How the Universe Works Wheeler Dealers + Anything that is on Eden. And most of what's on your list too actually.

Kind of wish Discovery kept Bear Grylls: Born Survivor, going loved that show. I saw that advert too for Fifth Gear, was a bit odd with the sort of slow mo, impersonating Top gear style of advert.

Apply using a lint free cloth and spray some water onto cloth/car and just take off straight away with a cleaner cloth. Then a coat of polish to bring back some of the shine.

I sound like a broken record on this section of the forums.. But have you tried a strong cutting compound like G3?

Use G3 Cutting Compound, if it does not take the scratch out completely it will certainly make it less obvious.

Yeh and make sure if you are going to use G3, use water with it on the cloth or sprayed directly onto the treated area. It truly works wonders though.

The colour magic, fills in any stonechips/scratches with the colour of your choosing.. So I put that on last as another polish/wax would just take it right off again. I only use colour magic for the bonnet/ front bumper and front wings for obvious reasons and use a polish/carnuba for the rest...

Yeh I have noticed this happen to my 182 at slow speeds, usually when turning slightly to the right. It is not a loud, banging noise just a feeble squeeking noise if that makes sense. Also the clutch whenever I press it in makes a sort of swooosh noise, which I always find odd.

Hmm, a bit tricky but doable at Car Auctions.. Maybe.
