 Have you got a project thread on the go in other marques for the Caddy? Would be interesting content, with the plans you mentioned last week.
But thanks mate, still get more looks in the clio than the leon. Which says alot! Carbon vinyl is the solution to all problems.. :p
:o not LYing here at all Dan, but i'm loving it :p - can really see how well looked after a car is when you get right into the cleaning, which happened today.
Got some carbon vinyl wrap for the front bumper inserts, to tidy that up - I will have a few before and after shots later for that.
Cheers guys, yup hopefully get her in for wheels refurb within a fortnight or so - going for the darker anthracite like we mentioned before.
Haha I know the feeling all too well Dan, come home from work - most important thing was not hello but is the logbook here yet?
Standard wheels, staying :P
In other news private plate on, sorry about the poor picture quality, fading light and properly the dirtiest the LY has been since I bought her - weekend really cant come quick enough.
Thanks mate, clear difference to be seen now. Part of my initial thinking of posting it up was to stop anyone falling for that price, quite clearly a rip off.
Ahh can't beat a bit of VAG boost now and again eh but what a beauty Dan, that is actually stunning. I'm sure you will turn it into something even more desirable! Would love to see it colour coded at the front along with maybe the plastic down the sides?
Nothing else ordered on the parts front...
Hi,
In the market for a genuine cup splitter and came across this on the bay. It looks remarkably like the fabia spltter I just bought for a tenner? Could be a genuine mistake from the seller, having never seen an actual cup splitter detached from the car I could be wrong? Link below...
Turini's are a call alright, might be on the cards in the future! But good news first part has already arrived in the post for the clio. Just need to wait a little while longer to fit these:
If they look a little too big at the front, i'll look into the 3/4 plates instead and have these at...
Thanks everyone, don't want to change too much as its more or less A++ at the moment - just a few subtle changes here and there. @LiquidYellDan - the looks on the way to and from work from all ages just puts a smile on my face, just such a beautiful colour. Your ava pick isn't too shabby...
Thanks mate, absolutely yes - thinking darker alloys as they work so well on these to give it that more of an aggressive look. That's also on the to do list (payday cant come quick enough.)
2 years since I let the AB 182 go and still couldn't get the thrills of these wee things out of my head! Was on the hunt for another 182 for a while to be honest, but really waiting on the right one to come up as I have a Leon FR as a main car anyway. Luckily made contact with Dan a fellow...
Was thinking that mate, but having the speakers in there don't fill me with any confidence with the previous owner(s) - but worth a shout, shame its a good 350+ miles away.
Also it says privately sold on AT but clearly in a car sales court, just wee things like that get me worried but you know..
Ah sheet Scott gutted about that news, spotted it there on Sunday also on my way to Crail of all places. Stood out a mile for all the right reasons though.
Heres a few snaps of my car atm + the old dearly missed AB 182 @carbon_clio
