Welcome to the forum. I had nothing but problems with my 207 GTI. Timing chain tensioner problem, turbo oil feed problems, constant mis fire when giving it the beans. Got fixed under warranty but never had confidence in it so sold it quickly
Having a wee look round the clio ive notice that the top mounts sit up off the turret like the below pic. Is this normal? I haven't done anything to the suspension yet but have all the parts for a refresh so need to know if this is normal.
No worse than any other car tbh, also look for signs of poorly repaired crash damage as these cars will have been driven hard so most likely will have seen the wrong side of a hedge or too.
What did you paint the arches with? Im going to be tidying mine over the winter and was going to stone chip mine then paint over that. Not sure whether to colour match or just use black
Thats the pipe mate, just what it says it allows it to breathe so if it's choked there is nowhere for the oil/water vapour created when the engine is running to go.
Has it been doing a lot of short journeys? Is the breather choked? It could just be condensation building and not evapourating up due to not getting up to temp (if short journeys) coupled with the cold weather setting in.
Corsa C's are murder for it. I was convinced my wifes one was away on her...
