More parts arrived and ordered foe the engine bay overhaul,
New bolts for the plenum as I learned my lesson last time about how easy they snap in half.... And nicer engine cover Allen key bolts,
And ordered muhself a complete set of ptfe gaskets for the inlet and throttle body
Next in line...
Had a bit of a cleanING sesh today to try out ny new autobrite wheel cleaning gel and lusso carbon collective shampoo, also made headway with thevpolished plenum and the fuel rail guard too, fuel rail guard got painted for ease
Also I was wondering if one of my abs rings was cracked....a bit
Il get new rings ordered up soon, along with rubber cv boots and a new gearstick gaitor, must be a snapped clip in mines, comes pinging off whenever I shift forwards
I've been using a cliosport seat cover that I got at css and I've decided it's the worst thing I've ever bought for any car ever. And that includes the 12 quid ripspeed seat covers I bought for my first car, Itl probably pop up in a picture later before it gets ripped off
Aww that's painful to read haha, that's the kinda thing that would make me rage uncontrollably haha!
What a bloody nightmare it was to try and do this without having the hands of a 7 year old girl!!!
Minor update, decided to be as cheao as possible and match my steering wheel plate to my (mostly) black interior trims via 99p of black gloss vinyl and a £2 renault sport sticker
I didn't actualy click when I bought it that it was a different renault sport logo but I think I prefer it...
new standard mounts are 12 quid each and I got 2 powerflex mounts for about 12 pound, I'm just lazy but I'll get them on asap, all you need for it are bushes, mounts, a 12mm drill bit and some cable ties, and a Stanley knife to trim the bushes to size
I have the powerflex mounts ready to fit to some exhaust hangers, supposedly stronger and won't wreck itself on a speed bump, time will tell, I've had them sitting around for ages and need to get my finger out
It's css next weekend man!! And the week after thst me and @sburrell93 are on another road trip to Leicester, busy busy! Need to get something sorted ASAP after that! Where abouts are you?
Haha I would if I could! Ive done a good few cars now, v6 golf, wr1, another members rb 182, the list goes on haha, bg is the best colour if it's properly clean!
Get it painted first haha, gimme the broken springs and I'll send em away nd test em out , no meet tomorrow any more haha kinda glad as I totaly forgot nd I've got other plans anyway haha
I only really want the top mounts for the strut brace because it'd be an actual working brace instead of the shite people normally fit to the towers haha, I contemplated cooksports but a dunno what they'll sit like, I'll need to do a lot of digging haha, which meet is thst pal os it the detailer...
Cheers pal am in quite a happy place with the car just now, it's running bang on and looks awesome just now (well not right now it's not been washed in a couple days so it's gantin hahaha) bit mod wise etc I think I'm nearly done, there's not much more I can do for it apart from wee things like...
