No reason they'll not last longer than a aftermarket one, and you'll be able to scrap it and get your money back assuming the metals inside are still worth good money at the time.
Once the aftermarket ones fail an mot, they're only good for the bin. So looking at it like that it £200 plus with...
You just listed two advantages.
Seriously though, i loved the noise mine made with my old ktec system. Never noticed any smell issues inside the car, and not much difference outside the car either to be honest. Maybe you've got an exhaust leak getting in though the shifter?
You could always...
I ended up going for a Magnaflow universal 200 cell cat, and had it welded to a 182 Milltek decat I got on eBay. At the time the decat cost me £35, and the cat was about £75. Then just paid someone to weld it up. Sold the original cat for £450 too.
Prices of the parts have increased quite a...
I've dropped off to him in person in Sutton in ashfield, and another guy in Stoke on Trent more recently. Money was paid into my PayPal account via friends and family straight away.
They've got a unit in stoke on Trent too.
Installed the March update yesterday, took ages for some reason.
Too early to tell yet whether it's done the trick, as I've only left the house a couple of times, but seems fine so far, so I'm hopefully this has sorted it.
Anyone with a Pixel 6 Pro, have connection/signal issues. Whenever I'm out and pull my phone out it seems to be 50/50 whether I've got any signal or not.
If I refresh the connection, it typically works straight away.
I'm on GiffGaff, but didn't notice any of these problems before, so suspect...
I bought a set of PS4's for my wife's CMax not long after they were released. I remember being quite disappointed with the wear after about 2-3k miles. Sold the car around that point, so can't really comment on full life. But the 4 sets of GY Asy 5's I've had since have seemed better.
I'm...
Yep some plonkers been adding stickers.
For reference the 182 cup only came in Racing Blue and Inferno Red/Orange.
As it's a Artic Blue it'll be a standard car with cup packs. Which isn't a bad thing. You used to be able to tell on the cup packs based on the rear wind and wheel colour (grey...
For me the front seats is the main thing. I had a set of Evo 8 Recaro seats mounted to Jon Foz X-Low (not the recaro version) subframes, that lowered the seating position by approx 6-7 inches.
Then I'd fit a 330mm steering wheel, with cruise control panel and spaces to suit preferred position...
I replaced the rear drivers side hard line on my old 182 a couple years ago. Bought directly from the local Renault dealer for around £40 if I remember correctly.
The old line snapped when I removed it, it was so weak and fragile, so lucky the MOT place highlighted it really, not something I'd...
Agreed, these days there isn't much difference from one year to the next, especially to the average user.
I think the main areas of improvement that are noticeable are battery performance (however, a lot of the time this is just because the phone/battery is new), and camera performance.
I...
Last time I had the belts done on my old 182 at a specialist I had a bill of almost £1k, I did have a few other things done.
Just checked online prices to have belts, dephaser, waterpump + coolant, and cam cover resealed and it's £1075. So if your belts, etc are due, you looking at an extra...
I sold mine for £3250 with no MOT and on standard wheels needing new tyres.
Full bolt in safety devices cage
PMS shifter
Gaz coilovers
Whiteline RARB
Mirco RS2 seats
Removable steering wheel
Full exhaust and decat
Track door cards
Bunch of others bits and pieces.
Also needed belts this year...
I had an Evol on one of my 182's quite a few years ago, and took it off after about a week. it was dreadful. However, a powerflex upgrade dogbone and engine mount insert, are one of the first mods I'd usually do on a 182 now. I've only ever had a very small increase in vibration and noise with...
I can't say I've ever had a camera or a phone that rattles, and I wasn't expecting my brand new Pixel to rattle either to be honest. Like I said I googled it when I noticed it and realised the advise was as you say, it's normal for these types of lens. But with it being the only phone or camera...
We've had them since launch. But I feel like it's gotten a little louder. Can hear it walking up and down the stairs sometimes when it's in my pocket. Not sure what the warranty is on them, but just hopeful it last. As wasn't planning on a replacement for at least a couple of years or more...
Out if interest, does your brand new Pixel rattle?
Mine and the Wife's Pixel 6 Pro's developed a rattle noise from the camera after a week or two (when I noticed anyway). Googling seems to suggest it's normal and everything works as it should still. But doesn't seem right.
Sorry, I meant if I was choosing a tyre for another car, ie my Z4 or E91, the new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 won't be available in Clio sizes. The older ones aren't worth looking into.
Options are pretty limited on the Clio, but if you don't like the Rainsport 5, I doubt you'll find the Pilot...
I've got Rainsport 5's on my Z4, previous owner had them fitted just before selling the car to me. They're not too bad on there to be honest, but I remember how bad the Rainsport 3's were on my Clio 182 a few years ago and was expecting to have to change them. I wouldn't choose them over a set...
Finally ordered a new TV to replace my existing 5 year old budget 55" Hisense. Went for a LG C1 65" from John Lewis, using prices match got it for £1558.
Been eyeing these OLED tv's up since before we bought the Hisense, but couldn't justify the cost at the time as money was tight after moving...
I believe the wire that was damaged was one of the several wires connected to the ECU behind the battery in the engine bay. You'll need to remove the tape/shielding to uncover the group of wires. I can't really give much help to be honesty, as Mick sorted the issue out for me.
I don't think the style 108 wheel are that popular on these anymore. They're expensive to refurb due to needing splitting etc, and haven't really aged well either. If you can pick up a set of style 107's fairly cheap that are in good condition, or that can be powder coated cheaply, then sell the...
@Dinky Feet
There is currently a 3.0Si up for sale on the Z4 Forum on 71k miles for £8250, was posted up in October, but is still for sale now.
However, there was 2.5Si sport on 78k that was up for £8k, that sold within a couple of weeks.
With the lower mileage, I'd guess it would sell for a...

Anyone ever used one of these? Popped up on an advert earlier, I know it's a leaf blower, but wondering if it'd make a...
This is one of the main buyers on the facebook groups. Paid me around £450 for a 182 Cat earlier in the year. Though prices have fallen since then to around £300.
The 172 Cat is worth more though.
