A remapped R26 is much quicker than the Clio's imo,after driving both. And yeah £5K is around decent R26 money....ridiculous value for money.

I agree with the above - for looks and performance,theres nothing much better for the money. Same goes for all older RS Clio's / Meganes.

The thing i hate about modern cars is they actually tell you which gear to shift up or down to on the dashboard display....whats the point of that?! My gfs DS3 told you to go up to 3rd when you were on 2000 rpm ? I hate all these modern aids....pedestrian sensors....wtf?!

I love these now. But back in the day you never took any notice of them hehe. Must be a generation thing...i spent my childhood looking at mid 80s to 90s cars so when you see one now it brings all the memories back ha.

That newer BMW is well ugly compared to the older one. In fact most modern cars are ugly....those hybrid Nissan saloons are horrendous.

Especially in window size....the older cars had larger,squarer windows which let so much more light in and visibility all around...must be a safety thing.

I much prefer that smaller,boxier look.

I just saw an N reg Nissan Micra on the motorway and couldnt believe how small and boxy it is - but i find it so much more interesting to look at than todays modern cars! Also the old Volvo estates are tiny and boxy compared to modern ones - but i really like the look of them now! Anyone else...
