my car has a knocking noise coming from the drivers side, it happens when accelerating hard or when its wet spinning and when changing gear when driving fast sometimes could this be th engine mount?

New cambelt, camshaft and valves at 35'000 miles. seems abit early to have it done. i'll probably get it moped and polished up anyway. gotta find myself a ph2 back bumper and bump strips now.

what 172 would you get? i can afford a mk1 now but love the look of the cup so wouldn't mind saving a little extra but would i miss the air con and abs so should i get the ph2 172. you guys know best, what you think? what would you get?

looking into buying a 172 mk1, are there any common problems with them? whats the best things to look out for whilst looking at them? for the people who own them what do you think? cheers
