    Going from a 172 to 182?

Although not the quickest cars the clio's are hardly what I'd describe as slow! Certainly don't think a 325i should be quicker as suggested above lol. Oh and to the OP. I did the change and don't regret it. Got a newer one with less miles and in a colour I prefer. Plus it was a bonus to get...

How long does timing belt last on 172?

I'm amazed you can write that you're to skint to pay that little extra for a belt kit to fix this properly when you have savings to one side for a Skyline. It beggars belief tbh!

How long does timing belt last on 172?

You'd be a fool not to replace while out if you don't know when it was last done.

SM inlet (RS2 style) for 182

Are you taking it to be mapped somewhere else then? If you are you'll have to go back to this place after to get an accurate comparison.

SM inlet (RS2 style) for 182

Problem is that bit more power is right at the top of the rev range so in reality your peak power was probably better/more usable before. Hope a decent map changes that and the torque for you...

SM inlet (RS2 style) for 182

I think I'd be disappointed with that result for the cost looking at the before and after. Makes my 197 cams look like even better value though!

    Angry dashcam man

Flol, that 172 at the start is in my town center. How/why he did that... Also most of the Angry dashcam looks to be from around here.

When I had a pull down it was fine and my brothers is also fine. You just need to be very careful to fit it so it's perfectly level imo.

    clio 197 cams for 182

I have them in mine. I like them but I'd say it's only worth doing if your belts also need doing due to the cost of it all... You'd also need to find some 2nd hand and they go for around £100-200. 200 being quite steep for them.

If you end up needing a new cat then you can't go wrong with one from cats2u. About £80-90 so cheap. Had mine for over 2 years now with no issue!
