Not as far as I'm aware mate and I have owned it for 12 years now lol. Water used to sit at that point when it had rained and I wonder if thats got in the side skirt and rotted away

Passenger side sill is worse and a big bit of rust that is going to need sorting properly. I will get a price at some point for it all but for now at least its all cleaned and the pile of dirt is removed. It will remain In the garage and only come out in the dry so hopefully that should prevent...

Waiting for the RAC to come and get towed to the garage. I told them i believe it to be injector seals and they rang me back saying the mechanic said if the engine is noisy it wont be the seals...

Well looks like 100% injector seal. Just fired up and theres smoke coming out. Not sure if its injector 3 or 4 though, cant work it out. Maybe 4 due to the cylinder 4 misfire code, or maybe its both. f**king stinks!

Car absolutely stinks of exhaust emissions if that might be any indicator as to what the loud ticking noise is? Would the injector seals cause a strong smell of emissions? @Brigsy

Thanks mate, I can only see 2 bolts though from looking underneath? The bolts pictured above are the same 2 from different angles.

@Mazz Is this what I'm looking for? Can only see 2 bolts. If so, it does look like they may have been removed as theres a small circle around as though thats where the bolts were previously fastened? Are these bolts meant to be different to each other? What am i looking for on the pedals?

I wish I knew mate I feel so gutted about it all! No idea about steering column being off, i wouldn't have thought so unless i needed to come off for any of the work its had done? I will go out shortly and have a look and then report back.

Also getting a grinding / vibration through accelerator pedal when pulling away and releasing the clutch if anyone can have a guess at what that would be? Steering wheel is also wobbly as in movement up and down if anyone has any idea what would cause that? Going back to Kris next week so...
