£99 from Apple so not as cheap as iPhone battery replacement but from my experience worth it, iPad batteries aren’t as easy as iPhone batteries to replace.
Saw a rover tomcat turbo in red earlier this morning and then a escort rs turbo series 1 just. No pictures as was driving at the time. Rover went well!
Looking at a car (not a Clio) which has the following advisory two years in a row and I’m trying to work out what it would be. Can anyone help please?
offside front inner suspension rod ball joint has slight play (5.3.4 (a) (!) )
Any ideas what that would be please (in layman’s terms)?
Is it...
I drove from bugibba to sliema on my wedding day in a hired Suzuki alto and that was scary enough the prospect of losing €150! Although it helps if you drive like everyone else, see a gap and go!
Welcome. Nice to see someone from Malta on here. Car certainly looks battered by the roads, not surprising really.
Your certainly in the right place for help and inspiration.
I’ve had two cheap 172’s. Both required little bits. First one was better than the second one but still great. As said above if belts have been done and there’s not loads of rust etc then go for it. It’s a Clio at the end of the day so apart from belts most bits are cheap and easy to do even for...
Wow, this is awesome @RustyMojo . Love your commitment to getting a prefect 182. Shame seeing how much work you did on the other one. Good luck with this one, does look immaculate and with your level of work any flaws will be perfected well.
Out of interest what does the other one need now to...
Really good progress with it mate, you’ve made some impressive changes. Looks lovely.
Wish I’d had the time and inclination to do more to my 182, then wish I’d kept the 172 that I actually did do stuff to.
Very very nice, really like these, and yours looks lovely. What is the mpg like on these? Thinking of getting one (probably a 225 though), really do think they still look great.
When this happened to me many years ago, mine snapped flush too and was drilled out by a garage due to my inability to do anything remotely useful like that! You might get a mobile welder to come out to you. Failing that drilling it out will definitely sort it.
