aye it was a case off 'go hard or go home I'm here to race' ...I stayed out it all tbh but both sides wouldn't step down and it was all a bit heated. for the sake of one corner I would have held back.
and that's it, aye stone chips and that are fine but if something was to happen and to make it...
looks great when its beached on the grass 😂😂
I'm on the facebook page with them as they are mega active with trackdays, that video has been doing the rounds and was all kicking off a bit on facebook... there is another video of the car behind again and it makes it look...
CSOC SLS Hot Hatch Day DONE... mixed reults tbh.
Car ran well and was a good day overall. but my Issue with it cutting out and only on Duffus Dip has returned. managed to cut out twice on the day. At a total loss as thought I had found the problem being dodgy relays. have done 2-3 track days...
I know it's a bit old man car I think.
It drives pretty well and ain't the slowest of barges. I have a diesel one aswell so if I did use as a doner then I could spec up the diesel with it, would prefer to punt save the hassle
Moon miles 😂 bet it still drives well and all. Don't think it's for me mate would only try and sell on again and thinking might get stuck with it. Means if I'm stuck with the Laguna might be able to do something with it.
Cheers mate still to get it finished off. But It deffo sticks out now haha!
To be fair the one with the green has had bits chopped out as it's on throttle bodies
Depends where you put the aero catches aswell, mine seems to hold well.
ive got a Laguna 2.0 turbo. Rare car and decent spec.. put 12months mot on with all repairs and now can't shift it 😂
So if I can't sell... are they any good as a doner car for a Clio/kangoo project. I know they are like 175bhp and not like Meganes but a few tweeks should see 200bhp...
Look up about it... actually super common. Happened to a good few I know. Again that garage I had my car in Automek said he looked into it and then refused to fit valeo again 😂 had to send it back.
A lot of people are thinking if it's OEM then it must be good I think tbh, I wouldn't...
One was cost... second was feeling as if I don't need the full fat race clutch so I just didn't go for it.
I had it in a garage up here called Automek in East Kilbride and he works with mostly race cars. And it was him that refused to fit a valeo again after seeing what happened 😂
I...
Yip exactly.
First clutch lasted about 14 track day
Second lasted less than one day.
Each time it was they rivvits that went on the pressure plate. Letting it act like a blade and chop about 4 holes in the box.
Unlucky with the clutch. Exact same story as me. Clutch failure wreaked box...
new clutch new box... failed 1st time out again wreaked box...
this time went with a LUK as looks a better clutch plus has covers etc for where the valeos are failing.
Didn't want to spend on a helex but would...
Trackday done!... and with no issues RESULT!!
So since last time the car has had another new gearbox due to clutch failure AGAIN and to save time was removed rebuilt and refitted by Automek
Gearbox done with LUK clutch this time as it has a improved pressure plate over the valeo stuff...
Car was out for the first time 2017...
CSOC trackday, was an open pit day. Only down side was the rain but for me was a test day more than getting the max out of it.
Day started and out it went. Few laps no issues. Traction control light would not go off, still had abs! Asides from that no...
10 points to you 😂
Was. 2.0ltr before and that and the Clio where a dead match on track. Now is a 1.8T with the aim of 300bhp, (more 250 for now).. fancy box and loads of other bits, bit to VAG for me :tongueclosed:
It's coming to the CSOC track day on the 4th march as it's first...
